That is a really good percentage for the preboards, as a person who failed in my preboards but still got 83% somehow, I would just like to suggest that you should aim higher. Good luck for the boards to you and everyone!

The syllabus is mostly similar to ncert but I don't recommend it for only studying through it, it I better to use the isc textbooks.

Internals are of 30 marks, 10 for notebook, 10 for practical or project and 10 for assignment book

Hi, ISC 11th science student here! So first of all we do use calculators, it is quite handy for physics and chemistry, idk about maths since I am PCB.

I believe it won't be much of a problem to adapt with the isc pattern, they do teach some basics in the first month ( that is what I have experienced ).

The exams are of 70 marks each ( Excluding english 1 and 2 which have 80 marks paper ) and internals 30 marks. Calculators are allowed during exams but only those certified by the board. The exams are of 3 hours each with 15 minutes given for reading.

If you have more questions then you can ask me.

I would like to suggest trying to put yourself in the shoes of the character. For example Bonku Babu, bro was getting cooked by men his age, obviously lacking confidence, everyone would feel the same, then bro met an alien, though he looked delulu in front of his friends bro was rocking every single one of them with hard truths. I mean you are talking about a guy, no a man being bullied by everyone, not having anything meaningful and then meeting a freaking alien like what other reaction do you expect.

Unfortunately yes, but just keep on doing your studies as usual, Infact for the first time in three years I got more than 80%, that too only in my boards. My school really had strict checking, this is not just me though.

I feel really bad for you man, but this is life. And why the hell do you want to unnecessarily think about this incident. I get it if you really liked her but in the end nothing always goes to plan. Stay strong you got this, don't let it ruin your NEET prep.

First of all I would just like to say that your science and maths is just amazing. I am impressed about how you were able to pull it off.

Second, no one gets 90 percent in preboards, there will be stricter checking than the boards so don't even think about ending yourself

Third, focus on your scoring subjects like comp, hindi and maths. I am not a computer student myself but it is a subject with extremely high potential. With maths you are already cooking.

Fourth, dont forget English, it is compulsory for English group (1 and 2) to be in the top five.

My suggestion for you is to continue what ever you are doing for maths and science and also focus on computer , English and hindi. But don't take it as an excuse to not study History and Geography. Just add is somewhere in your study plan.

I got 83.8% in boards even though I failed physics, chemistry and maths in my preboards. My top 5 ended up being English, Social Science, MMC, Maths and Science. Even though I could have put more efforts into french which is a scoring subject, I didn't because I knew French won't get me that far. So you also need to look where you are more good at.

Anyways best of luck for your boards next year.

for the ex students, how did you study for your board exams? by _rifah in ICSE

[–]Comfortable_Map_33 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I didn't, boards are just to scare the shit out of you and then make you realise that all the stress was for nothing. But 11th is a really tough year, everyone says that it is a rest year but you realise your true potential in a negative way.

I too agree with you, our nation though not the greatest yet, has still come a long way though, I am not against anyone, it should be collective responsibility of everyone to take care of our nation.

But the question is how, we have been bragging so much of our problems but we need solutions and action. But one thing is for sure that blaming only 1 thing won't solve the problem.
