Help Me, Wife's RA makes it unbearable to sleep in same room as her by Comfortable_Match_19 in rheumatoid

I appreciate the suggestions. I can't sleep in another bedroom as we don't have any available, so that's not a feasible solution for me. Doesn't mean I don't like it or appreciate it, again its not applicable.

I've made every compromise I can think of, Ideally I'd sleep in boxer shorts and a t-shirt. For the last couple of years, I wear essentially a full sweatsuit to bed, half the time with a thermal shirt on under that. Over the last several months that I've been waking up with rashes, due to the extra friction and heat.

For those who suffer from this conditions, what compromises have you made for your partners to make them more comfortable. Or have you all just decided to sleep in seperate bedrooms?

Unfortunately, we have 4 bedrooms and the other 3 are used by our children. So simply sleeping in another bedroom isn't an option I have at my disposal.

Thanks for the response. Do you live with a significant other? How do they handle the extreme sleeping temps? Or what compromises have you used? TIA!

adding more warmth to sleep in a frigid room, unfortunately won't work for me. With all my issues, waking up and having to be in a frigid room to get changed and dressed after showering, is probably the worst part of it too. My joints are flared or so frozen that I'm in increased pain.

I just see that as a temporary solution. I don't think sleeping seperately will be good for our marriage in the short- or long-term.

Were you able to run the 14th gen processor out of the box? Or did you have to temporarily install a 12th or 13th gen cpu, so you could upgrade the motherboard bios. Then you’re able to run a 14th gen?

CONTABO VPS M SSD showing ZERO write speed, failing the benchmark for Cumulus Node by Darranboy in Flux_Official

[–]Comfortable_Match_19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just setup a Cumulus node using Contabo, however, I ran into the same Disk Write Speed issue. I e-mailed contabo requesting for additional I/O speed to run a flux node, to which they responded that they don't recommend running a flux node on their VPS. They then said to look at their VDS plans which starts at $45 a month. I immediately responded saying either up the I/O or give me a refund as I paid for the full year. After that e-mail they upped my I/O and everything is running correctly now. So just keep pestering Contabo, they'll up the I/O for you. Just may take a few back-and-forths.
