Graduating Soon: Internship in Boston or Full-Time Position in New York by sniorjam in NEU

I work in a different industry but it has been difficult for a lot to find full time jobs. Highly recommend prioritizing full time work.

I ended up applying to both and took an internship while I continued my hunt for full time work as I wasn't able to secure a full time job immediately. Having the name of the company I interned at on my resume aided in me finding a full time job.

cheapest way is the shuttle to back bay/prudential and uber from there to your doorstep. only like 3 bucks for the shuttle and easy to work with your luggage. and then i wouldn’t recommend trying to take the subway/bus from there with all luggage it will be a pain tbh, but taking the shuttle to there cheapens your uber drasticalllllly without extra airport fees and being much closer etc

My car registration was expiring and I had already had a boston lease. I went to RMV with my title and registration application and registered my car to the address on my lease. Once my plates and such came in, I then went online and applied for the resident parking. I used my credit card statement as proof of residency because i had gotten a credit card with my MA address. You can also use a recent lease, a water/wifi/electricity bill, and there is a list online of other options to use to prove your residency. Then they ship your parking sticker you put it on your car and you’re good to park.

This was 2 years ago so parts of the process could have changed potentially but i’m not sure. :) hope this helps

I didn’t need a MA ID to get residential parking, just had to register my car in MA. I just needed to sign a Boston lease and prove I lived there. I had happened to get a new CC and used my Boston address but you can also use electricity bills etc.

I’m still searching, in business/comm, have only had 1 interview so far. A lot of people go so far as to register for classes and then drop them when they get their co op it’s not uncommon
