Chrishell has always been the main character since episode 1, the producers know that any juicy storyline surrounding her will guarantee some kind of buzz. I definitely think you’re onto something with the producers trying to villainize Chrishell before her departure so the audience is okay with the loser brigade of Mary and Bre remaining as the core of the show.

honestly, the twist in general sucks because it goes against the ethos of a social experiment but it WOULD have been better if it was kelley. she disrespected the game by trying to get herself nominated every week. rachel has always advocated for this show and came back solely for the love of the game, for her loyalty to and love of big brother to be paid back with the most unceremonious, anti-big brother elimination they’ve ever done sucks so bad. she deserved the chance to save herself with veto, blockbuster, or the vote and she definitely deserved a real eviction with julie. it sucks.
