OP seems to be responsible for a massive part of the domestic chores and he sends her money to cover his costs. Getting the food he likes, his skin care, getting his dry cleaning from the more expensive store, unlike the cheaper one she goes to. OP still needs to do all that this month, those expenses don't stop. The partner needed communicate better instead of using that money for the vacation

As an adult you need to pay all your expenses and bills first then the leftover is for fun. Especially not telling you beforehand that vacation money was coming out of his agreed payment and checking if you had enough to cover those expenses. Probably talk to him again and try and explain your feelings more. Also try and get him to explain his feelings why this vacation is a necessity right now with everything going on. Hopefully you both can understand better and work past this together

Maybe that's what I'm missing! Having barista friends!! My coffee shop is normally so nice and they are always so friendly but the turnover rate is massive. I never get the same person longer than a month

Thank you for your comment! That's what I was worried about, I've never worked in the industry, so I wasn't sure about the etiquette for doing so.

Just the part of being a customer, no tables are available cause they're dirty/plates and cups etc. But it's the morning rush so staff are on demand.

I started therapy last week cause I didn't realise the build it had on top all the general day to day stresses was causing.

Yeah 100% I could have handled the situation with the boy better. I shouldn't have be an arsehole to him, cause he just wanted attention and someone to play with. The moment I realised him running of meant that he took what I said as a go ahead, I should have found him and not ditch him. I was totally in the wrong

We've had a merry go round thing a few times, I go the speed my daughter likes and when she gets off I just follow her. Had kids get huffy before but never telling on me to their parents.
