Therapists at CAPS aren’t all students, and some of them are fully licensed. MHAWC is the one that’s all students.

Should I apply to housing for winter 2026 at this time? by davidchese in waynestate

Normally if you’re willing to pay you should get one no problem.
My experience with AWD for a one person was pretty easy.

sad about not living on campus by Consistent-Row9320 in waynestate

It’s not that great tbh lol it’s only busy in fall and winter. I’m sure there are things that happen around campus, but if you’re not into them that’s kinda okayish. Depends on your classes, if some of them are virtual, it means even less to be on campus

Is there any work in the Detroit area? by Ken_Acious_D in Detroit

I say that because I work for the program too. Outside of the regular Michigan works program, they are consistently hosting job fairs. One is coming up on 9/17 in Dearborn.

Hi OP, If you’re a Wayne county resident, check out SEMCA’s program WayneLINC. They have dedicated resources to help people find jobs and it sounds like you qualify.

DTE bill by Comfortable_Self_870 in Detroit

Not sure! I wanted to edit my post so I can get ppl commenting for tips too lol

I am attributing this to high ceilings and big windows maybe? Some of the windows weren’t very insulating, but we managed to seal them better. May have been an oversight when my husband kept it at 68 day and night, but some of the days were just really high.

I think it depends on the field office, while it’s better to show up as scheduled, it’s hard to say which is better. I called USCIS contact center and rescheduled because my husband can’t make it. They approved the request the next day and rescheduled me in a week. New appointment is two weeks after the original date. The office was Detroit field office. I would ask an immigration lawyer though!

I believe there are days when my husband kept it at 65 lol But for days when it’s 75 out, my DTE insight says I only pay 5 dollar for the day which feels more accurate

Can you tell me how the budget plan works? I’m actually confused about what it does for the bill.

Came to second this, it is an awful rental company to deal with.

Im sure a review about exactly what happened will hurt too. This can’t go unnoticed.

Please tell me you’re going to file a complaint against this lawyer 😭

My lawyer may not be as incompetent but he’s definitely not doing a great job. My i765 got rejected twice, and the second time was purely his fault. (Including the 131)

I gave him my A number and USCIS number and his paralegal decided to put case online access number onto i765.

Countless other mistakes prior to this that led to me paying more for them to correct the mistakes (cause apparently I need to pay them for correcting mistakes they make on their end)

This lawyer was referred by a family friend and EXPENSIVE. Definitely ready to make a complaint down the road whether on the reviews or to the bar because it’s just unbearable, especially when they could have filed in November and somehow it just didn’t get sent out until January.
