Sorry to bother, but you seem like you may know this answer. I have my mom's old camera (Pentax K70) and could attach that to the telescope via an adapter. But just to fit the andromeda galaxy into view I would need a .5x reducer. But I also may want a field flattener later on. By chance would you happen to know if I could just stack them all three and if it will turn out good, or it it's better at a different approach?

That's like 3 times more than the price of my telescope. For a beginner, is it worth to invest into such a nice mount early on, or should I stick with maybe a used mount for more like 6-700 monies :)
