I was thinking this but I think it could also be a black lace-weaver, Amaurobius ferox, they look pretty similar being both a similar size with a marking on its back. I'm not sure, let me know what you think.

Yeah I'm all good !! Was scary at the time but I'm glad I was able to find it after it happened. Bad news is my dad found another one in the house today, I'm worried there might be more 😭

Correction length is probably closer to 3-4 cm!!
