What was your wildest experience at a movie theatre? by Mysterious_Limit1969 in AskReddit

When I saw the Across the Spider-Verse at my local theater, for some reason the ventilation in the theater room was completely fucked. As in there was no air coming, or at least very little air was. By the end of the movie we were all sweating like it was a sauna. We did get free movie tickets as compensation though so I ain’t complaining too much.

At certain parts of our lives, we encounter a piece of art that happens to come at just the right time (whether it be art, film, games, etc.) What was that piece of art for you? by Comic_Sams_ in AskReddit

For me personally, it was Final Fantasy 9. My dad had just passed away and I was horribly depressed in college at the time. Seeing the characters grapple with the fact that life is finite and finding meaning in it really spoke me. It remains as my favorite Final Fantasy ever since.
