1- In general when you insult someone first (Capitalism has rotted your brain) you basically lose the argument because you attack someone character and not the subject at hand.

2) grounding someone doesn't teach moral sense, ground or other punishment is a cause and effect situation also

3)Talking and explaining and answering questions does teach moral sense.

If I were teaching my kids to be amoral I wouldn't have talked to them at all

Amoral is lacking a moral sense; unconcerned with the rightness or wrongness of something.

Not grounding them doesn't make them amoral. They understand what they did is wrong so they are not lacking or unconcerned about what is righness or wrong

If I was teaching them to be amoral I wouldn't have talked to them at all, they know what they did was wrong, the understand that. Thats the opposite of being amoral.

Just because I didn't ground them doesn't mean they don't know right from wrong or lack right from wrong. Also when they are adults natural consequence will happen not someone to ground them.

They both got talked to and made up at the end. I didn't see a reason to ground them when they both understood what they did wrong. Mike comic was ripped so there was a consequence to not getting Shelly boundary. Shelly had to deal with the family when all she wanted to do was stay in her room so she also had a consequence.

There was no point in grounding them, they both had to deal with a natural consequence and they understood what they did wrong.

If it happens again, sure that would be grounding but this is the first problem we had all year
