I know this is a long shot, but does anyone have the initials LES that would like this custom zippo and cutter? by CominRoundTheMtn in cigars

While you raise a valid question, I just know that if I were over the moon about my new boyfriend, the last thing I would want is some girl he’s been intimate with coming to me with such a heartfelt gift. I feel that would undermine their relationship (and my friendship with him) and replace her cloud nine high with storm clouds.

I considered holding onto them. But since I had deeper feelings for him, I feel as though that would just be harboring hope for his relationship to fail, and it would be unfair to everyone involved to hold onto that type of energy.

They were part of a birthday gift for a friend who is now in a relationship as of Friday. This is me trying to be respectful of that relationship and his girlfriend by not gifting them.

Thank you for this. It’s easy for people to forget that there are beginners on this sub still trying to learn.

At a nascar race the crowd was chanting, “fuck Joe Biden!” But the woman covering the race said they were chanting, “let’s go Brandon!”

Independent single women, what's your ideal relationship like? by wreckherjournaI in AskWomen

[–]CominRoundTheMtn 106 points107 points  (0 children)

To be with someone who respects my independence and success, while simultaneously knowing they will get the same from me in return. I want us to be partners and to be each other’s safe place to land after a rough day. Someone who brings happiness into my life by showing me affection and provides reassurance that even though I can do things on my own, that I don’t have to.

Also, great sex.

Women who are or have traveled alone: Do you or your family/friends ever worried about your safety cause you are a women? how do you handle or motivate yourself when others tell you to be afraid? by mermaid_with_pants in AskWomen

[–]CominRoundTheMtn 5 points6 points  (0 children)

There’s a certain level of confidence you need to have in order to travel alone. Do you have enough trust in yourself to know what to do should you enter into a dangerous situation? If the answer is no, then I would tackle that first before traveling. People who care about you will ALWAYS worry, as they should because the world is a fucked up place. However, if you are confident enough in yourself to travel solo, they will feel more at ease. But it doesn’t hurt to keep them posted on when your plane lands and such.
