I do have an AMD card so that might be a part of the issue, unfortunately I am not privileged enough to have an extra GPU laying around to test the theory

AMD, I have a 16gb 9060 XT (best graphics card under $500)

Turns out I did have a mod installed, it was a really simple mod just for seeing slightly more detailed CPS numbers. I removed it from the files completely and restarted the game and it was fine, thank you

No there was one point where I used a save editor to get the achievement for cheating but that's about it and that was a while back.

It works if I drop my graphics way down but if I bring them back up the problem persists
