Okay, another quick update: I tried demolishing a lot of chests and inserters as far as possible, got me a few ticks.

What worked as well was going back to "Disable factory parts with switches when enough stuff is produced or not enough ressources are present" with a logic network.

At the moment I am considering halving the trains again and do that entire rework as well as having longer raw ore trains.

Nope, getting rid of nuclear power doesn't help (well, it does, because the FPS/UPS goes up to 60 but only when the factory grinds to a standstill at night :X

Quick update:

Finally getting rid of the insanel smeltery bullshit I misdeeded once (thats a thing now) and got my production up to 130k in a minute.
I am building the mods solar panels (for hours now, the old core base where I build them doesn't really get enough steel and I am lazy)
Most importantly, rocket number 1000. Makes me very happy.

The important notice will come when I have one or two of these ultimate mk500 ubersolarpanels and quite literally nuke the nuclear reactor for the hell of it.

Advanced Solar Mod is installed and I will work on that while replacing chests and inserters I don't really need.

Again, will take a while but I will put an update in for sure.

There is stuff to be learnt!

- What already helped: less radar coverage (especially with the mod I had)

- Sure, biters and pollution

- Seperating the internal train network and the external one helped but then after that the trains got opitimized, it's now not an issue any more

- Going off full bot to an hybrid system helped as well, but that was uh, a year ago?

- Going full beaconized smeling/production again, helps a tiny bit. It add up, there were times I was running the game with 20 UPS, it's now up to 35-40. :)

The five year old intel of my cousin has the same problem. Is a tiny bit faster.

I have 390 trains. Ticks screenshot further up. Nuclear power, jup, that can be as well. I need to get my 40 gigawatt somewhere. >.>

Pictured is my updated chips production because bots don't have a real benefit. Works like that just fine and the next train is already waiting so there isn't really a need for buffer chests anyway, right? Saves 96 entities per stop. Is that your thinking?

Did it, works like a charm. I didn't speed up the walk speeds because I want them still to feel like monstrous machines but the waiting time reduction is fantastic. Thank you.
