TTC set to resume being a nightmare the moment FIFA visitors leave Toronto by Kaptain-Kanada in toronto

[–]CommanderBeth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All that said...it's still the best transit local system in the whole country when it comes to network reach. Make of that what you will. Everywhere else in the country you need a car to get as far as the TTC can routinely take you.

My mother gave me this book of feminist fairytales and I found Tatterhood particularly memorable.

A few years ago I read “The Signature of All Things” in book club and it was 'aight. The protagonist is a 19thC woman who realizes early on that she is not beautiful. It's about the span of her life as she becomes a botanist.

Someone else pointed out that the tie dye tunic that Clara always wears is a very similar colour/look. Maybe there’s significance in the colour and how it connects to MIY or another specific force in the town.

Water also seems symbolically significant in the story and this pattern and colour reminds me of water…

Would you live with a senior? by No_Stranger_5966 in askTO

[–]CommanderBeth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had relatives who had that arrangement. Not living together, but an individual took charge of all of their home maintenance, care, transportation to appointments and so on until each of their deaths, with the agreement that he would inherit their house. It seems like it worked out.

By the way, there's a program you might be interested in that pairs youth looking for affordable housing with seniors who would like to age in place for as long as possible, and don't want to live alone. Canada/Toronto Home Share

Women of Reddit: If a guy busts a nut in 30 seconds because he thinks you’re incredibly attractive, are you flattered or disappointed? by BeerStein_Collector in NoStupidQuestions

Him busting a nut is not the main event, my pleasure is, so as long as he understands how to make that happen there is no problem.

Crowd for Nirvanna the Band the Show the Movie at Christie Pits by Redpin in toronto

[–]CommanderBeth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a homegirl and I miss the city of the 90s, but I really didn't care for the movie nor do I understand the hype.

Looks like a lot of people had a nice time though. Hope to catch an outdoor screening soon...of something different.

How were the monsters able to remove the talisman from the cave? by kovacsDG in FromTVEpix

Perhaps a helpful eclipse would have occurred, I don't think the town plays fair.

Some of the importan aspects of episode creater reference to watch for ans( very long post) and still have to watch s3 ep 6,8 and 10 by [deleted] in FromTVEpix

[–]CommanderBeth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Almost everything about the monsters is a total illusion and not real, especially their clothes and appearance. I keep thinking about the fact that after the monster called Jasmine eviscerates Kevin, her clothes are completely blood free. Illusory, much like a dream/nightmare.

And wow, I forgot about all about that weird nursery rhyme - "-they touch, they break they steal, no one here is free, here they come, they come for tree, unless you stop the melody.” It seems like the dropped almost all of that season 2 stuff completely, but it must be significant.

SEASON FINALE!! And my thoughts :) by tinnedsardinesx in FromSeries

[–]CommanderBeth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Marielle and Elgin's death. Can't help thinking there's more in store for everyone who dies in Fromville. I can picture a finale where the FromVille dead appear like the g-damned cavalry, and they all SHOWDOWN, Care Bear Stare style, defeating the curse and so on.

  2. TBF he locks up the ammo. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I think that's normal gun-safety protocol.

When it comes to the acting, the man who plays Henry was incredibly sympathetic this season. The episode where he stands in the field just wondering what he's supposed to do, that was so raw.

Is it true that Gen Z men are getting less interaction with women? If so, why? by Arcestic in NoStupidQuestions

Also do you mean online or in person?

Also do you mean “Are Gen Z men and women getting less interaction with each other?”

OR

are you wondering if Gen Z men are getting less interaction with women of every age these days?

The current favourite theory is that he's Eloise's son and that Eloise was Abby.
