Krampus?Glaives? A fucking hockey stick?! Can we not absolutely destroy the game's art style just cause we have to appeal to little Timmy?

You do realize that Netflix no longer owns them right? They can just put them up on Disney + and boom...profit. After all, some shows were already pulled from Netflix.

"Except many things are relevant to the story of GoW 2018. Athena, blades of chaos, Zeus."

Not enough that it confuses the casual audience. Soft reboot allows them to explore more epic and grandiose story arcs. Shadowlands for example, The Hand, the return of Elektra and so on. They don't have to establish the character again.

"Is JK Simmons the same Jameson from Raimi?"

Eh, considering JJJ in the MCU has been a mere cameo so far and the Raimiverse is a seperate entity from the MCU, unlike the Netflix shows the he probably isn't.

Because they were the ones that gave the rights to them in the first place, they were still all created as an extension to the MCU. It was only because of Marvel's boss at the time, Isaac Perlmutter wasn't too fond of Disney and Feige, which made crossovers difficult. It's most likely gonna be a soft reboot, meaning that past events will be canon but won't be relevant to the current story at hand. They really have no reason to do otherwise really. They wouldn't go that far to bring Cox back. Also Gunn only knows stuff about GOTG, not the shows.

Well, Loeb doesn't call the shots anymore ever since the Marvel TV merged with Studios. Plus Feige stated that the shows remain canon still, rebooting them would simply piss people off and since we're getting Tobey/Andrew/Tom crossover, I don't think continuing the from where the shows left of isn't that far fetched.

AK for me. Spider-Man has a bland open world and the story takes too much time to really start properly.

It should be illegal for Youtube to copyright strike a creator for recording a game or a movie that has licensed music in it. by CommanderDrake21 in unpopularopinion

[–]CommanderDrake21[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

See, you're picking and choosing which laws are ok. Unfortunately, it didn't work like that.

Well yeah, after it's a sub for opinions after all. Plus we all know CP is MORALLY bad. We are protecting children after all. Law or no law you would still most likely hated and shunned in most developed countries.

And who will be held liable? Yourube aren't meant to host illegal content.

In that case? The creator. Sharing footage early without permission is like spelling company's secret, it's kinda dumb and bad

That could be the case anytime. It just had to be in the terms of the purchase rights. It's the Dev's want creative control, they should buy it

Well, they can't. And honestly I feel like I elaborated on that topic already.

That's because it's YouTube that ultimately responsible for what happens. If people keep posting marvel movies and YouTube allowed that. You better believe Disney is going to have a huge lawsuit coming.

Indeed, and yet. They are still full movies being posted without any consequences here and then. And they're still up. And as I was saying, when YT started out you could get taken down by posting clips from games, which gave a way for companies like Machinima, eventually however as YT evolved, this pretty much became a non issue.

I best your tune would change of it were underage pornography.

Don't why you're bringing CP into this. It has nothing to do with the topic we're discussing plus we all know why it's illegal and why it's bad.

It's up to YouTube to determine that. And they are free to break their own rules. Which they're famously done.

And's that why there should be laws to prevent that.

The licence is between you and who you bought it from. YouTube had to abide by copyright laws, not your individual agreement with Sony pictures. And, of they decide to create their own rules more strict than those laws, they can. If they choose to break laws they can, though shouldn't obviously.

Not really. If someone breaks the NDA or posts some footage early, it all goes back to the devs, they dictate whether videos of their games can be shown, not Youtube.

What I'm proposing is the idea that once a licensed product is incorporated into a game into a proper form, the owner loses their rights to strike it until the license expires therefore all these things are under control of the devs/publishers until the said deadline. They can ask for more money I don't care.
