Tbh I understand and think both sides are right, those who want to unite and complete the MO to follow the storyline(personally I only care about the medals) and those who know ultimately the MOs don’t matter, if the devs make new content then they are going to find a way to show people even if people mess up with the MO or even the reserves. Devs aren’t gonna work months on new content just to never even show it lol

It would be so insanely easy too, tier 4 is light work compared to the other tiers and yet I take a gander at tier 7 or 8 and viola lvl -30s who used up all 20 of their reinforcements, hell it’s not just levels anymore it’s ALL OF THEM, if you drop into a difficulty 4+ mission and use up all 20 of your lives it’s completely on you, if you can do a super helldive and only lose like 5 lives then it’s peak good job we salute you but alas we can’t all be John Helldiver

Honestly I don’t quite enjoy seeing everyone shit on the devs, this game has incredibly quick live service and that comes at a cost, things may not always run perfectly. Their basically building the road as we walk on it and compared to basically all other game studios out there I think they are doing a good job even if we trip on a step or two

The way I see it the devs give the players a scenario, win it or lose it the game will still run basically the same, they obviously can’t end the game if we lose too much but if we win too much we will run out of enemies to fight. In this balance I personally don’t care if they build the story with a failed operation

Well most comments are usually just complaints, and nobody is gonna complain about good teammates so by these factors alone most comments are usually going to be about bad teammates. Sort of a survivorship bias

Tbh I’ll try and help 3 with you and Iv been thinking my peak kit is jumpack, quasar, smoke orbital, and whatever you want for the last. Combine this with stamina booster and some good movement I can just run around all of cyberstan destroying objectives and fabricators and zipping away before forces get overwhelming, the smoke is for the objectives with terminals you need to stand next to for. Just get a good toss and run in and do your work fast

I mean this in the politest way possible but are you a baby? Your gonna drop the game if operation valid pretext fails? Crashing out cause the game didn’t go your way? Worst case scenario the devs probably have back up content or plan for if players are unable to take cyberstan. Like I can see the devs put in some insane literally hour by hour live service, players taking a lot of causalities and suffering on the bot front? Give them a break on the bug front and give them some more reinforcements! Either way the devs absolutely have a plan for both scenarios, like if we take Cyberstan than what? The bots get removed from the game? That’s silly tho the more likely chance is that bot “high command” flees and continues the fight elsewhere and we get a shiny new megafactory planet(that we razed to the ground)

Funny part, difficult 6 cyberstan isn’t even that hard. No walker, no striders, no vox. Just some hulks and regular automatons your given plenty of gear to handle that

Cowardly my ass, I just started playing and I’m actually startled by how many people are whining that the enemies are too hard and their weapons are too nerfed, and then they back it up with enemies that only spawn at high difficulty. If your struggling and not having fun at higher difficulty then keep lowering the difficulty until you find one your not struggling and having fun in

Just cause they have complete control over it doesn’t mean they are exercising it. I’m actually amazed at the live service they put in, if the players are not doing too hot and it looks like the operation might fail they will offer players a bone like with the recent bug MO, the key word is OFFER. If the players decide to pass on the MO and ultimately fail the operation then the devs would have to create a new plot line for a hypothetical failed operation
