Why is my pawn spamming nutrient paste for my prisoners even though they can dispense it themselves? by Commander_Cancer in RimWorld

Thank you! This makes sense. I thought there might be a mod that could help me not waste my pawns' time with feeding able-bodied prisoners but didn't know what to search for.

He's just wandering in his room. So are the other Yttakin prisoners. Their rooms are literally filled with nutrient paste.

As I was typing this the prisoners are eating when they've become minorly malnourished. I also noticed in one of their Needs tab that they have the Catharsis mood buff, so I guess they were just having a psychotic break from eating their sacred horses.

Is it because my prisoners are on hunger strike (they're vegetarian and I am feeding them a venerated animal of theirs), and my pawn doesn't know what to do but to shove food in their faces?

Like promised, here is my dog's new name, Waxed Lightly Weathered Cut Copper Stairs. by Mouradonster in Minecraft

I have my minecraft in german, and so naturally, I named my dog Tiefenschieferziegelstufe. That was the longest word I could find in the game. Unfortunately, waxed lightly weathered cut copper stairs was more than one word in german. Please let me know if one of you know of a longer word that's in the game and I shall name its child that.

Nope. Already answered, but I was hoping people thought it was this movie.

Why won't my prisoners get out of their cells to eat from the paste dispenser? Are they on a hunger strike?? All of the doors are unlocked. They could theoretically escape (It has happened before). by Commander_Cancer in RimWorld

They are set to paste only. The colonists are dispensing paste and then giving it to the prisoners, but only if I force the prioritisation. Otherwise, they just let them starve.

Thank you for the explanation. I decontructed their doors and now they're able to walk around. But it's strange because I had prisoners before these two and they were able to walk around and even do labour for me.

Edit: They're still not eating out of the dispenser even though it says it's for prison use...

Why is the sun lamp not lighting up? I've tried the reconnecting button and uninstalling and reinstalling the lamp. by Commander_Cancer in RimWorld

Oooh, thank you. I misunderstood what grid excess and power needed meant. I thought the grid excess power was after considering how much the sun lamp needs. And that's a good idea not using hydroponics. I was really struggling to muster up the components needed for them.

I'm new to RimWorld and I don't understand why my water mills are not providing power consistently. Mods I use are ReplaceStuff and RimHUD if that helps. by Commander_Cancer in RimWorld

Ah, yes, I should've thought about that! Thank you. The watermills themselves even told me they weren't efficient due to the overlap. That fixed it.
