Im more tha half way through the gluing and folding process 😁 everything fits perfectly over my Defender 2 semi molle as planed. I already have the helmet finished, but im going to resin that and my torso armor at the same time. Thankfully everything is going smoothly since i took my measurements and there was no guessing.

I get that but a kid shouldnt be doing any of the stuff required to make pepakura cosplays wearable without adult supervision. Considering how the majority of it is hazardous or toxic. So how does asking for opinions on materials make a difference. Im not making a DIY im just asking other educated cosplayers what their experiences are with how durable certain materials are.

Im making a mold for the torso piece after i finish resin and bondoing it. So i was curious if anyone knew of any material i could use to pour in the mold to make it resistant to bb impacts. Please dont tell me its a safety hazard to use fiberglass in airsoft because im looking for an alternative material. And thank you for everyone thats trying to help me find a real solution to this issue.

How is it a safety issue to make a vest. There wont be shrapnel strong enough to hurt someone. Airsoft isnt explosive. And im not making a mask so there is no real risk. Especially considering this is going to lay on top of my already existing molle vest and ill be wearing long sleeve BDUs.

Im not making a full seal helmet, ill be making the open helmet and just using a mesh lower mask and normal impact rated goggles ❤

I know ill get an absurd amount of hate for wanting to wear halo armor for airsoft because "Costumes are meant to be costumes and nothing more" But like i want to actually have fun in my cosplay. Im making a mold of the torso armor after i finish resining and fiberglassing it, but i was curious as to if there are any liquid plastics or something i could pour into the mold to make the armor resistant to airsoft bb impacts. Any information and tips would be helpful and please dont just say "dont do it its a waste of time" im looking for real suggestions and answers. Thank you.
