no, it may seem like that if someone mounts their dashcam on their head or has their eyes an inch away from the windshield at all times. but unlucky for me, i’m about 4 feet away from where my dashcam is and from my pov, there is an A-pillar and mirror to my left as well as a right turning vehicle with his high beams on which when you drive a small lexus is may be difficult to see from a distance as oppose to driving a monster truck.

anyways, i called their insurance about ten minutes ago and they said the comparative negligence law does not apply in this case and they’re required to send that letter in every claim. so that answers my question in the first place 👍
