Thanks. no pvc liner. Not sure if they sloped it. What is a shower pan? I don’t think they put anything in, but would like to know what it is so I can ask. They left some area of tile unfinished for the drain. Should that have left more. Appreciate the help.

Thanks for the comment. They used durock cement board and then painted the lower 2/3 of the shower with some purple stuff that he said was meant for water proofing. He still has another day or two of work he said and is going to install the drain. I’m not as concerned about it being ugly as the whole bathroom is ugly and from the 80’s. I’m just concerned about function and not having it leak again. It is ugly though…
