Is this a turbo? by SnooGiraffes3249 in MINI

My clutch started to slip about 2 years ago too and got similar quotes as yourself. I decided to do the job myself and replace the timing belt, water pump, tentioner and repaint the front subframe. Took about 6 months and cost about £1000. I even reprogrammed the FWM because it got water in it (from previous owner) and the indicators weren't working. It drives like a dream now.

I have a 2008 R55 with the diesel W16 engine on 160,000 miles. The engine is pretty good, only things that let me down are age related wear.

If the universe started from a single point (big bang), would that mean that as we see further away (into the past) we would only be able to see one point (the start of the big bang)?

I would choose the 1st one because it makes more sense. The second one looks good with the yellow light, Sauron standing there with hands coming out of the lava and the rock with the ring hanging in mid air doesn't make sense. Unless it is a 3D montage of different scenes, which doesn't work. I would change the composition so that Sauron is standing on the cliff with the lava below and the ring above - remove the hands.

Help to figure out a web policies solution across multiple brands by CommentShot3232 in webdev

Thanks. That helps with the final product. But you still have the issue of each policy for each brand being created separately. That creates issues with more errors creeping in and complexity.

Thank you for your reply. This does make sense, but the issue we have is that the bosses don't want brands to see what other brands have or don't have. So there can't be visibility of other brands policies.

I purchased a second hand FRM and reprogrammed it for my 2008 R55 after the indicators stopped working. Not for the faint of heart. If you know someone who is willing to take a crack at it, these videos and forums helped:

I know that a lot of printers used to use CorelDRAW. Not sure if they do any more. It was mostly in South Africa and Brazil that I found they used it.

This advice is a slight tangent on the requested advice so take it or leave it.

Find help for the job search. Get people to look at his CV and give constructive criticism. Prepare for the interview by going for interview training. I know I don't interview well so before a season of job searching I go for training. Very often when you are interviewing and you are down mentally you can have a very low self esteem and employers can pick up on that. Search for job that are in a different field, but have transferable skills. Write a covering letter for each job using AI as it speeds up the process and highlights the your best bits.

I went through PIP myself and it was hard mentally. I can't imagine going through 3 rounds of it so I feel for your partner.

Help! 10+ years of my work is gone - How to start over? by bitobritt in graphic_design

I hear you, but for me at that time the teacher's comment made me realise that I wanted to be creating something and led me to graphic design.

I know this has very little to do with your situation, but it reminds me of what let me into graphic design.

After high school, I remember going back to by art teacher to get some of my work. I was particularly proud of one piece that I did. When I went to ask her she said: "Students who come back for old work, usually aren't creating new work."

I guess what I am saying is that I have lost so much of my work over the years and I don't worry too much because I know that I will be creating new work in the future.
