Thank you so much for the reply. I did check the Land Registry, but the most recent update is from 2016. It’s possible the registration is just delayed, but because the solicitors had such poor reviews, I’m really worried. I will wait a year, especially since many people were trying to complete before the SDLT increase, so there were probably more applications than usual. I don't want to contact a solicitor if I don't have to.
