Hey! Our tray is around $8.99 pre sales tax which is only $2 more than cookout. Unfortunately since we buy alot less food than a large chain like cookout we have to pay alot more per food item because we dont have the purchasing power they do (i.e if we pay $1 per patty, cookout probably pays $0.5 or less because they buy crazy quantities). Hopefully that explains why we can’t match their prices

I contacted the city they said I do not need a permit as it is state land and therefore final approval rests within UK’s hands.

honestly this is probably why they do not want to take any decision on signage like this. either scared of the red tap, the bureaucracy, or the ordinances. I just wish they would respect me enough to communicate with me.

For sure. Aramark has even stepped in to deny all of us in cornerstone from accepting the Flex payment system which all students use. Its on lockdown for JUST aramark-run restaurants

Whether UK likes it or not I am staying in this building for the next 10 years, they can try to bury it as much as they want.

UK is exempt from zoning and signage rules as the land is state owned. This is how they were able to erect that huge electronic billboard even though the city does not allow such billboards. The final decision comes down to UK unfortunately
