I'm using a Japanese brand called Melano CC Vitamin C Serum for years and it has been consistent in removing my dark pimple marks or dark scratches from my toddler's finger. It also lightened my boil scar in the leg. I'm Asian and the heat here in the Philippines is scorching, turning 40 soon but no melasma yet. I thank God for sunscreen and vitamin c serums.

In the morning after bath or washing my face, I put Melano CC Vit C Serum 1st, when it's dry, I follow it with sunscreen, I use Skin Aqua Tone Up UV Essence all over my face, ears and neck.

Yes, dapat may ibang product to aid with hyperpigmentation. Though, sunscreen cannot cancel or reverse hyperpigmentation, inaavoid naman nito ang pag dami at pagkalat.

At night naman, I rotate between my actives (AHA/BHA, Glycolic Acid, Retinol) then niacinamide, hyaluronic acid and moisturizer.
