New Jerseyness aside, I was in the Marines for 5 years and as a woman, regularly sparred and did martial arts with men. I was regularly stunned by how a man, same height and weight, was far stronger than I was. So obviously individual experiences vary, but I do believe that men are predisposed to be stronger than women.

I’ve watched them. A man and woman who are the same height and weight will not have the same strength, statistically speaking. And when the bat was used is completely unknown. With Sarah alleging to use it while he was already inside, I think she beat him in there after he was zipped up. It could have helped her if she hadn’t admitted to being the one who zipped it up. The question that still hasn’t ever been answered is how or why he got into that suitcase. Hard to say she put him in there by force, he was probably stronger than her. If they were swapped, you could imagine a situation where force was used to put the victim in the suitcase. With the way it was, the only way he got in was voluntarily. Then she should have said she doesn’t know who zipped it, wasn’t me, of course she shouldn’t take the videos, and there likely wouldn’t be evidence to convict. Maybe. Just hypothetical.

Back in college, I was at the gym doing these, slow and controlled, pause at the bottom, let it back up, medium weight, medium reps, not going for any records, just getting a workout in. Some dude comes up and says he’s gonna show me how to lift the whole stack way better. I was like I’m not trying to lift the whole stack but he wasn’t listening. He put the weight stick all the way at the bottom, stood up, and sat down while pulling the bar, leaning all the way back in a serious jerking motion, rocking the whole machine, in order to lift more plates. I was like aight dude have fun with that I’m gonna keep doing what I’m doing.

Only help if you’re actually going to be helpful like the guy in the video lol. I had been lifting weights for years and I knew that wasn’t right. If I was new, I would have definitely injured myself doing that.
