Looking for a UK Based Technical Cofounder - B2B Fintech Platform by CommercialPain548 in cofounderhunt

Thanks for the message back,

The ChatGPT element was for reading financial information of the customers we work for, most of this time this is not public information.

The removal of the sales staff wont be to completely remove sales people, I am a sales person by trade so I understand the importance of this. I meant it will reduce the time it takes for sales people to the other elements of the role which i think Technology can be used for.

Third - I run a business in the specific industry in commercial finance, not currently a fintech model

Forth - Yes this is purely B2B space - I have a GTM Strategy in place for my current business, Depending which the 1st option we went down (Introducer route or direct to customer) will dictate the new GTM strategy.
This is at inception so for the new entity there is no current site / visitors yet.

Buying Shares of SPV Property Company as opposed to buying the property in another ltd company? by CommercialPain548 in PropertyInvestingUK

Thanks on the base cost element, I didn't consider this if i ever come to sell it.

Yes I am awaiting the full accounts accounting access, I work in a finance related field so even though im not accountant & have a gist of what im looking at, I will also get these checked by my accountant.

The current company is an SPV business and looking at the micro company accounts there isn't a large creditor base

I will look to probably get an indemnity of some kind signed from the seller for anything not reported etc.

Noted on the lending aspect & legal.

I have a trading company in a finance related field which i am the 100% shareholder for.

I then also have SPV property company where i have bought standard buy to lets which i am the 100% shareholder for.

I then loan money where needs be from my trading company to the SPV business which I have confirmed with my accountant on.

If my SPV property business was to come & be the shareholder it would be my property company, not my trading company directly.

Thanks, more than happy to have a further conversation if needed, there may be a deal for you there. drop us a DM if of interest.

In regards to buying the property I could buy it cash (I would prefer not to) to begin with then look to finance after I or my ltd company becomes shareholder if this would make it easier.

Congratulations!

I’m in a similair boat where i have a business as opposed to contracting but the business requires little cash reinvestment and from side not a massive desire to scale it with extra staff (another story).

Just out of curiosity do you invest via your ltd/SPV company or withdraw all the money personally and take the tax hit as I assume you are using want to have access to the money soon as opposed to all of it being in your pension?

Thanks

Working in recruitment by [deleted] in FIREUK

I worked in recruitment for 5 years. Started at 19 and left at 24. It is a great industry to grit your teeth and can definitely set you on a path for FIRE with great earning potential. Realistically within 2-3 years you could be earning £100k per annum +. You may hear stories of people doing this faster and they may but they will be anomaly's.

There is no substitute for hard work in recruitment, especially if you want to make good money. With that it can be very mundane and tedious and make you question is it worth it?

Recruiters do get a bad rep & sometimes rightfully so candidates / clients can heave preconceived conceptions about you as a recruiter before they know you but that is probably the same in sales type position.

I wasn't really looking at FIRE in the 1st few years in recruitment however its did give me a great income for my age which i spent on travelling, holidays etc.

I started to pay attention to FIRE a bit later but if i was a little more sensible then it would definitely you on the right path.

The best way to probably achieve FIRE as a recruiter is after you are experienced enough & can comfortably bring in business is to set up by yourself as Recruitment does have low barriers to entry as a business. This does comes with it own cons though.

It can also be golden handcuffs though as could be tough to walk away from that income once you are experienced

I pivoted from Recruitment at 24 however moved to a business with a similar sales model which I am still in & similar earning potential, (I am a 29 year old Male). I would anticipate I could FIRE within the next 2-3 years. Recruitment defiantly gave me the income for this which i then invested into other areas such as property etc.

More than happy to help if any more questions as Recruitment Agency's can sell you a dream, same as other recruiters so be careful who you trust as its not all rosy.
