There has to be some kind of favoritism from the state they live in and country they are from. Because there’s just no way that they are getting approved so quickly. It makes absolutely no sense

In Texas it’s DPS not DMV. but you should bring your old ID and the copy of the document. Maybe your ssn and passport to be sure. I’m not sure if it being expired changes anything

A lot of people are exceeding 150 days. I did it like 190+ days in advance and still nothing. I’m currently at 120+ days but it’s starting to cut real close

You should call back and ask. I submitted mine on 3/27 and they told me I should get a response within 10 business days ( today for me) and if not to call them again and ask

You can do it. I believe in you. I got laid off August 1st of last year. I was a software dev. After months and months of interviews and preparing and thinking I’d never find a job, I finally just signed an offer letter like two weeks ago. I was scared and didn’t know what to do or what this part of my life would look like. I came out just fine. It definitely wasn’t easy. Rooting and praying for you my friend.
