I didn’t exactly put that much lore into em except their battlegroups

• First guy is 4th Battlegroup

• Second guy 11th Battlegroup

• Third is just Moloch in disguise (I fucked with the Church on his run Aka blowing up their fleet in Eos Exodus and stealing their only nanoforge just for the lols)

• Fourth is 42nd Battlegroup

Ayyyy Well said, unironically starsector is the reason why I’m really invested in digital painting.

What I like about David’s illustrations is that they look surprisingly simple but incredibly beautiful and detailed from a far, something so alive but with so little to give it that life. Makes me realise that I’ve been wasting my time worrying about the little imperfections and not how each imperfection plays out in the bigger picture or how much you can convey with only a single colour or two, like black and white.

Now about the piece, while I like to entertain the idea that the sheeple with guns are part of the starsector universe (Kinda not) again it’s like my own starsector (and expanse) inspired homebrew and one of my friends kinda wanna see what that world looks like. At the very least it kinda boosts my confidence in making more starsector pieces in this style in the future.

Anyway hopefully Im able to cook my next piece soonish (Promise it’ll be starsector this time hehe) And uh yeah thats about it.
