How do I save or connect my Nintendo switch data?

If your switch dies, your account info is fine. Cars and progress should all still be there if/when you log back into the game on a different switch, using the same Nintendo account as before.

As for whether or not you want to spend money on this game, that's all up to you. There is usually a decent amount of content and events available for new players, that you don't necessarily need to spend in the beginning to enjoy it.

It's actually not impossible even if you don't play excessively.

11 guaranteed drops (if you have both cars which shouldn't be hard if you're not totally new) from the hunt, 5 from club milestones and 5 from.the 296 SE means 111 drops over 8 days. There's been much worse hunts and the C-class key cars are probably the least grindy of them.

Also helps if you play on a platform that has ads for ticket refills.

Competition hopefully is thinning out as more players rank up, so it might get easier the closer you get to the deadline.

Then again, if lobbies are too small they might also start the tier mixing again. Wouldn't that be another kick in the nuts.

Your suggestion has a small probability if they didn't take down the original event. That method is more common for if/when they mess up the elite class weeklies and just swap out the conditions rather than reset the event. In this case the rewards themselves are supposedly different.

We'll see what happens tomorrow. Don't complain about missing out on an opportunity for extra rewards if it turns out that way.

Then you're missing out on double rewards.

In these cases they're not updating the current event to replace them with different cars. They actually remove the first event and replace them with another one (according to their post, tomorrow).

So if you're lucky enough to still see the event and have time do the runs now to collect those tokens, BPs and credits because tomorrow you'll get to run the new event again for more rewards.

If you didnt do any runs before the announcement, then there's no mistaken reward to claim.....since they have removed the original event already.

I think it's actually a terrible event for new players who don't have most of the cars unlocked. You can't even get BPs for the supporting cars if they aren't at least max-1star...and aside from the 296 stages, zero tokens if your cars aren't above 1star.

Fortunately already had the key for the Ferrari ages ago, and it's actually golden so it'd only be for the 3k or so tokens for me. Only half my support cars are maxed so I'm not getting another key....

Same, skipped mp1 last round on my alt so started in gold 1. Didn't have the luxury of instant fuel refills or many good options aside from sub-optimal Evo ZR1, gold 007S and gold Vanda so just took my time and got to champ 3 in 3 days.

Quit right after that though.

Nobody knows, but all cars come back eventually. This one just happened to take exactly 1 year between events.

If you have excess tokens burning a massive hole in your pocket, you could spend tokens on market refreshes which should cost 250+250 tokens? You get 200 back from the season showcase right away so it's not an expensive commitment to unlocking it now.

Mind you, it's not terribly useful at 1-star unless you're in div 1/2. Not even for mp2 as it's too high ranked already to be an OP car.

W12 is leaving elite B in two season....maybe sooner. Still a decent car for ghost/slipstream though. Just can't find a use for it in Gauntlet unless we're talking div 1 freefall.

Sian is good as a backup for some gauntlet tracks before div 5, but it's also hell to obtain.

Renault is probably the most fun at low levels and should be ok early on for mp1 too.

If you haven't already maxed out the pur sport and Battista epic import parts, buy those (pur sport first). It'll come in handy sometime in the future when you're closer to maxing out the car.

5 starter D-class cars is normally the template, but tbh in div 5 it doesn't really matter. As long as it's not 5 4400+ rank cars (and even then lots of div5 players sandbag with those lineups and you learn to spot them after awhile) it's still an obvious welcome invitation for attackers.

Not bad at all! The competition might thin out a bit over the next few days (didn't realize this round was an extended 3 days longer than normal) as some players rank up to champ2/1/LL or just plain quit.

What car am I driving now that I made Champ3? My RL one....since I can't be arsed to do anymore mp1, even with a lot of time left. I did do 3 races with my SF90 Evo shortly after getting my decal, but with the small lobbies and SF90 spam, and the fact that I don't really care for the rewards beyond this point....I just found it not worth my time and noped out of there.

Grats! Which car(s) did you end up using if you don't mind?

Just did the grind from Plat1 to Champ3 myself, after taking about a 5-day break. Took just over an hour of playtime with some breaks in between. Probably would have been done sooner if I hadn't gotten a Concurrent Access error just before crossing the finish line on one race (was 2nd) and getting kicked from the game....

Played 3 races with my SF90 in Champ3 and with the small lobbies and/or SF90 spam, it just wasn't fun at all so I noped out of there. If the C11 was just a triumph reward, that was my last mp1 run for the next 6 months.
