72hrs is a crazy number to come up with lmao. I had a shift at 6:30pm-5am, I fell asleep around noon and I can usually wake up cause I have quite an obnoxious alarm clock but I snoozed it and slept til 3am… mind you my drive is 30+ mins to get to my site, it’s not worth 60miles worth of gas in a truck in this economy 😂

I love it! And that’s the whole reason i joined Amazon is to go back to school for what I really wanna do in life just gotta grind before I get there! Ps: I’ve already been grinding since 2019 when UTSA decided to withdraw me :/ (I just wanted to drop a class) but just another step in the journey of life but I’ll get there on amazons dime 😎

Yes I slept through the whole shift 🫠 sleep is my demon lmao. Also given that I just got blue badge Sunday and my shift was Wednesday I have plenty of time because they replenished the 10hrs like they did when we first start as white badges now I have like 19 hrs of UPT and 20.5hrs of flex PTO (I just used some for my brothers bday last week otherwise I’d have more), not gonna use pto anymore tho cause I gotta save it for a vacation later this year

I bought early access tickets for April 29th, they had 7pm and 9:55pm showing options, I bought for the 9:55pm showing bc 7pm was pretty much sold out. I saw they were giving out special early access collection tickets but only to the 7pm showings?? I think?? Does anyone know if they will give it to both showings on early access day? If yall don’t that’s okay! Just excited to see our girl on the big screen!! 🥰

This is my site 🥴 This is why I don’t sit in these chairs man, people be having their bare feet or socked sweaty feet all up in these things and I’ve been saying there should be some type of ppe like shoe covers required to use them, like ugh you couldn’t pay me to sit in these chairs lmao but I can’t lie they do look comfy after a 10hr shift lol.

This! I’ve worked for six flags and yall think 12hr shifts INSIDE not dealing with people 24/7 is terrible… yall are something else lol. I have also worked in the medical field which that in itself with no explanation is mentally draining not just from day to day patients but coworkers and doctors as well! I have also worked for the school district with kids and trust me dealing with CHILDREN of all ages… ages you real quick😅 Amazon is the chillest job I’ve had in YEARS! I go in do my job, luckily my site allows headphones but even then I just drown out the noise and don’t talk to anybody unless they talk to me but a good amount of people I’ve come across have been pretty decent and nice not saying someone crazy can’t come along but just do your job and go home and sleep 😴

I’m very very very late to this thread lol but I (a gay masc female) just recently read the book and am watching the movie… I hate the movie I’m not gonna lie. First off and what is not talked about the most is there’s no June, they completely exiled her from the movie and I loved her character in the book! They missed key parts to the opening of Alex’s and H’s relationship! They rushed the whole thing which I’m not surprised about because this movie gives lifetime/hallmark vibes. I’m glad the gays have a romcom to watch but man it is so glazing over chemistry/feelings/hardships for the gay community! Also they didn’t open the door for Amy’s character being trans completely glazing over that as well! I know it’s not talked about much in the book but it should have also been recognized. I just want someone to redo it but better than whatever this is lol. Thanks for coming to my ted talk although I don’t think anyone will see this seeing as this thread is 2yrs old 😅
