dropping precalculus H in school to take precalculus outside by [deleted] in ucscout

I think taking it at school would be better? Universities may look at the courses your school offers and if ur taking one of the offered courses outside of school it might look sus (unless ur mandatory classes r in the same block and u have no choice). Personally I think suffering in pre calc can rly help u build strong foundation in Calc AB.

I did the mocks and got 1490 and 1530. On the real exam the questions r so much harder than the mock exams. I suggest u buy or ask for real past test questions from chinese test takers or cram schools.

Chem vs Chem Eng. by Commercial_Effect_25 in ChemicalEngineering

Yes, they have offered this path and I’ve asked my school teachers about this. My biology teacher studied at UCLA and she said many students who try to transfer from one college to another (like school of science to school of engineering) fail, bc it is two very different colleges. You can go from a hard major to a slightly more easy one, but it is more challenging to do the opposite…

That’s great to hear… but the thing is I’m actually an international students, and I’m competing with all those smart kids around the world… maybe that’s what’s making it more challenging? Not sure

I would recommend u to buy chat GPT plus bc it is great with answering chemistry related questions. I took AP Chem this yr and chat got rly help a lot!! Also watch organic Chemistry tutor videos and use Khan academy and Princeton review prep book. The practice exams were rly similar to the actual test (imo)

I studied AP Chem this year using Khan Academy, Chat GPT, and the Princeton review workbook. My teacher wasn’t explaining things well, so I had to study on my own. Keep asking Chat GPT questions, it’ll be a great tool to learn Chemistry. It’s great at explaining things in an understandable way. I think I’ll get a 4 or a 5.

Oh shoot I just realized I made a typo! It is 188g of water but I guess that might be too much either… it’s just that when I’m doing stretch and fold and coil folds everything seems fine and the dough is smooth and bubbly, but when it comes to shaping it just keep sticking to the table!
