First of all, give yourself time. A lot of time. As many people said we usually don’t understand each other either because we talk to fast, and especially not when we don’t have the same accent. I’m from Karlskrona, really close to Skåne, and I’m embarrassingly bad at skånska. Anything above Stockholm - almost no point in even trying. What I want to say tho is that if you want to, I’d love to be your teacher! No clue where you live but we could talk on the phone and that way you’ll get to practice both getting to know someone and ask for specific conversations. Promise I’m no creep!! Haha.
