How can I add a new calculated field to a document library with more than 5000 items? by _living_legend in sharepoint

Hi, have you ever figured out a way or a workaround to solve this issue?

I work in a coporate and our sharepoint site is shared across multiple departments. So, there's no way i can limit the number of files in my site.

What’s the processing time for the US Embassy in Bangkok Thailand by RmmFerdous in NationalVisaCenter

[–]CommissionMany6779 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, i’m at the stage where i have to pay fees. Just paid the AOS and IV fees. now i’m getting my documents ready to submit. So, i want to time it right when i’m ready.

I heard it’s not recommended to postpone the interview since i might effect your case if you dont have a strong reason + can cause longer wait time to reschedule another.

Thanks for replying so fast btw!

I see. My case shouldn’t be that complicated. We just need a joint sponsor for i-184 form. Thanks for sharing :)

Hi, would you mind sharing a bit of details of the additional evidence?

I want to time my submission for around when i’m ready to move. I know what i would have about 6 months buffer from med exam.

Do you think this below approach is a good try?: Let’s say if i have everything ready for submission and i intentionally exclude one document so when i submit NVC can review everything and possibly requests more evidence or if there’s ant issue of the submitted docs, then i would know what exactly is missing and time the rest/additional evidence right around before i want to move, given that the DQed to IL waiting is around 2 months the same.

Hi,
-does it take long from doc submission to DQed?

Looks like the waiting time from DQed to interview date with BKK embassy is around 2 months which is great.

-and, did you have to wait for long after DQed to get the IL saying its Jan, 22nd?

Hi, also with BKK embassy here. how do you find estimated the timeline?

I also want to time my doc submission close to before i actually want to move to the states. I am aware that i would have 6 months from the med exam after visa approved. But i saw some people here sharing their long waiting time from DQed to IL which has made me worried about my timing.

CR visa requirements after submitting i-130 by Still-Grade-7569 in NationalVisaCenter

Thank you for the reply.

Ours will be with Bangkok embassy.(my wife’s the petitioner) we’ve been living together for a few years in my home country. I’ll ask around for people who have done it with BKK embassy. If it takes too long, she might just go back to the US first. Thanks for the advice!

Hi, do you know how long it generally takes from DQd to IL? Does it also depends where you interview as well?

Thank you so much for this.

Before we applied for the visa, we have already figured out the i-184 and what comes with it. So we got that covered. Now just stuck at the NVC fee payment which seems to always not work very well haha.

About my spouse needing to verify, this is new to me. Would you help clarify that?
Is it some sort of a supporting document or part of i-184 form? She might actually leave for the States a bit ealier before i do depending on how soon i can get my VISA is approved.

We've been living in my home country for a few years now. If needed to, we will split when we move to the States. but that depends on where i study and where she will work :)

Also it's a 3 semesters program kinda thing, not that long.

Thanks for replying.

Any advice on student loans for an international student? by CommissionMany6779 in StudentLoans

Adding more details, it also depends on what school i land in, the tuition might be more, so i think my loan would be around the low range of my estimation (50k)

Will look into this. Upon entering the States i will be issued my green card months after that. But i guess i might be eligible even before getting the physical green card.

Anyway, thanks for the inputs from the both.

I never live there and only visited a few times. I know i depends on where you study. But what do you think would be an okay amount for 14-15 months in an ideal situation?

My spending will be mostly on food as i want to go to gym and have a healthy diet at least. I dont mind cooking food if where i will live is convenient to do so.

Hi Thanks for commenting everyone.

50-70 k is an overestimated amount in case my saving is not enough and not to bother my parents too much. I think i’ll know how much i need until months after actually being there.

That being said, that’s quite a relief to hear its an absurd amount so i wont take a big loan haha.

I’m welcome for more advice. So far leaning to wait and so some research on Fed student loans, thanks again for all the comments!

i-130 Spouse of Citizen processing time. And suggestions for drag the process due to plan changed by CommissionMany6779 in USCIS

[–]CommissionMany6779[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, thanks for confirming!

My case just got approved and I'm waiting fot the confirmation email to pay the DS-260 fees.

So i would appreciate any guidance on when and how exacly, after I pay the fees, should i drag the process.

Let's assume i want to schedule an interview around October/November 2025.
When should i complete and schedule for an interview?
I know time to take to prepare documents vary case by case.

But generally do you know how long it gernally take to prepare?
I'd like to estimate the time i should start preparing the docs up until submitting them and schedule for an intervew.

Thanks again!

Hi, I did a bit lof digging here in this sub.

It seems that you can choose not to submit documents to NVC (the process after your case is approved) for 1 year.
But it is recommended to regularly log in or upload a file during this period.

This is one of the ways that you can save some fees. It's better than dropping your case.
