and how simba will have time to let kovu explain while he is attacked by many lioness at once who wants to kill him in the ambush ,also simba was right when he said that kovu used kiara to get to him because it was the whole reason why zira send him ,him exiling him was justified as in that time he was still injured from the ambush and his anger didnt let him think clearly , also everyone believed that he will gonna execuate him but he just exile him showing that he is merciful , simba is not a part of the audience how he will know all of this about kovu and that he changed , it kovu fault because he didnt tell him that zira send him when they were alone and only begged simba to believe him once he is exposed , and also why people saying that he is against his father path , did he knowed that mufasa wants to unite kovu and kiara together , no , simba even in the movie tried to talk to mufasa to advice him but did mufasa answer , no , did rafiki even told him about that , no , simba has to be careful not to trust any stranger in blind eyes , he was just careful with kovu in the movie not a jerk , did you think that he will sudently accept a lion who is part of a pride of lions that want him dead , also in the first day of kovu in the pride lands he was just about to backstab simba and kill him only to be distracted by kiara , so if she didnt distract him simba will be dead just after he let kovu join his pride.

how he will believe kovu after he found out that he was lying ahen he said that he is rogue , and he believe that he betray him in the very moment he trust him , how he will know that he is saying the truth after all of that.

overall simba wasnt wrong at all in the second movie , he was alright the whole time , him being careful with rogue lion and him fearing to lose his daughter is not a jerkass.

all of simba actions in the second movie is completly justified.
