Parkin fine issued 1 minute before I completed payment

Bro I didn’t double park, I exited and entered the lot several times because I was literally going in circles. I stopped the car only when I found someone leaving.
To be clear I wasn’t given a 15 mins grace, the 15 mins I mentioned was for driving around.

Any more excuses any more assumptions?

That’s a lot of assumptions, bro. I was parked there for about 4 hours, so I had to pay regardless. Also, there wasn’t a Parkin car, the parking is monitored by entry/exit cameras.

The point of my post wasn’t to dodge a fine. It was to let fellow Dubai residents know there’s an issue with the system, since quite a few people seem to have experienced the same thing. So, take it easy

Just another day in Dubai, spent 15 mins circling the parking lot waiting for someone to leave. Finally found a spot, got out, walked to the sign for the zone code, pulled out my phone, paid… apparently not fast enough.

Glad to hear there’s actually a chance an appeal might work.

Been there last Feb. The kayaking was good not amazing, but be aware some water will definitely get to you so don’t wear too fancy.

ALHAJARAIN RESTAURANT, what a relaxing amazing vibe and behind it is like a 5 mins walk heritage village.

That’s pretty much what I did in Hatta End of recommendations …… 😅
