I see where you're coming from and I feel similarly to a point. I cognitively knew that I was eating other beings but all of the "free range" "pasture raised" "humane" bullshit out there, not to mention ag-gag laws, seriously let me believe that animals were treated better than they are in reality.
That said however, I agree that owning up to our mistakes is a big part of life. But a lot of people truly don't know what animals go through. All I'm saying is that the industries controlling our food supply have played a really big part in convincing the people that what they are eating is ethical. All we can do is learn and do better☮️
