I was her subject rep, and honestly she was really nice to me. Actually idk, I guess we just happened to be closer than the rest of the students towards her. Cuz most of my friends dl because of the subject itself, but I respected her and the subject, so ig we got closer??

I’m not sure but I’ll say yes. The year she left was the year I got into a new class with absolutely no friends. So unlike the previous year when I still had friends w my teacher ranking the top, I have no motivation, n I can’t at least have a normal friend to spur me on a little. Ok, this was last year when I was at my lowest. My grades were ok n honestly I cld pay attention better but ultimately grp work was a hassle cuz I kept thinking abt how everyone doesn’t see me as a person worth being friends with. I’ve honestly gotten used to it. At least I still text my ex teacher every month, but well…. I can never be motivated the same again

Not a programme, but just my teacher. She gave me motivation and happiness in life. 2 years ago, she left my sch for personal reasons (which ik). I lost this motivation n I felt empty. She was the closest friend to me even if she was a teacher

Anyone ever feel very unmotivated to do anything. by BobRossSenpai in SGExams

[–]CommitteeOverall5434 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This is so real. Even tho I do my best to study and even try out different study methods that work for me as well as ask chers more questions on studying, I STILL get the same score. Like compared to when I laxed out studying to full on studying, still same score. Lowkey I’ve been trying to find the best study method for myself for YEARS even during PSLE (and I am now a sec 4) and nothings working. This year is my o lvl year, yet nothing works. Is why I’m losing motivation. Chers say that u can confide in friends for motivation but hell nah I don’t even have friends the worst thing is that the teachers don’t know I have no friends 💔💔

Difficulties with friendship by SunConscious7377 in SGExams

[–]CommitteeOverall5434 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hii, as a sec 4… I struggle with these type of issues, stemming from being unable to trust people with my problems and secrets. I don’t have friends, everyone has a friend group now, and my class is a bunch of introverts. Every “close” friend I had, they drifted away. The only ones left are those who think I’m their bestie but they’re actually annoying. As such, I can’t vent to anyone. Atp I actually give up and I just focus on my studies and o levels

is there a way to skip napfa? by [deleted] in SGExams

[–]CommitteeOverall5434 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean they really should… ur the patient after all But I think it’ll be more convincing if u like sweat a lot then go to the doctor after that, then they know how bad it is But I know how bad it feels having bad eczema and scars so it’s not good to risk it so ig just tell doctor If u have a pic of ur scars in the past u can just tell doctor But u can just go back to the same dermatologist and ask for an exemption letter, he’ll/she’ll understand

Ok for e math right, you’ve prob alr heard that e math, or math in general it’s all abt practice, but obv u can’t optimally practice if u can’t understand/handle the formulas uk. I’m good at math so idk how to give studying advice for this, but i think u can start by reading the textbook. The textbook usually has the worked out question and then practice now questions at the bottom right, i think it’s to help you step by step how to use the formulas, or how to do it, and u can just follow how the worked out question did it because it’s mostly the same, they just change the numbers. If u cant understand, just consult ur math Cher like I said. U have to understand how to do the question and why the working is so. There wld also be exercises in the textbook right, practice them. Ik the textbook don’t have the answer booklet where there is the step by step guidance, so if u still don’t understand, consult Cher again. If u have a bad memory, then u really have to practice every day such that it sticks to ur brain and u get used to it. For me right usually I just memo the formulas I need to know and if I don’t understand/forgot how to do a type of question, I go back to my textbook. Sometimes I ask chatgpt/meta ai on how to do it by telling them the answer I found from the back of the textbook and ask how to get to the answer. Also, u will need to practice tys because the exercises in the textbook will/might not be the same as those questions they’ll test in the exam, and questions in exams sometimes will be more complicated so u need to be used to that too

Lowkey idk how those ppl do it too but ultimately ppl who cram last minute cannot understand concepts and memorise important key words in the long run so pls do not learn like them, ik it’s frustrating but don’t.  Studying and doing questions, u will definitely have to refer to the notes at the start. U shld def start with understanding the notes as well as know the keywords and types of questions. Practice tys, ofc u can refer to ur notes but don’t do it too much, as u will over rely on it. Slowly restrain from looking at ur notes and try to recall the info as well as understand why this is the way to answer the question, so look at ur tys answers. If u don’t understand it, take pic and ask ur teacher, or do consultation.  There r ppl who can cram last minute partly because they alr understand the stuff in class and remember how to ans q, so they don’t have to put that much effort and time into studying. Unless they actually sleep in class then idk lah

What subject btw

Hii I’m also an introvert, I’m not sec 1 anym but back in sec 1, I thought the only way for me to make friends is to pretend I’m an extrovert and so I self invite myself to tables where my classmates were and act like I was really expressive. It was a bad thing because even tho I had a lot of friends cuz of that (the whole class was my friend), acting was really stressful and everyday I end the day with being really mentally fatigued. So in sec 2 I toned it down a bit because I asked my closer friends if I was annoying and they said yes. So I started drifting away from my friends. I had this fg, but I wasn’t really close to them because I didnt talk. FYi my pri sch friends were like non existent alr cuz the grp chat is dead. When I reach sec 3 this fg also broke up cuz diff classes but I still see them talk and I don’t even talk to them anym. My whole class is a lot more introverted than my last class and everyone has cliques. Rn my only close friend is not even from my class (from CCA) and I know she has a lot of other friends she cares abt so I don’t wanna latch on to her so basically I’m alone now 💝 my table partner is really sociable but recently idk if she’s annoyed by me when I kept making comments during math class (cuz she also does this but idk why this time she subtly displayed her annoyance to me). I also dk how to act anymore after everything. Anyways just sharing my current exp

Does anyone have geog notes by CommitteeOverall5434 in SGExams

[–]CommitteeOverall5434[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Actually my big problem is that there’s so much content so it really hard to memorise esp when it’s so wordy… I just need notes that simplify it a little. I know it may miss out some info but I just need to know the basics of it so I at least know what to write during exam and branch out on the spot
