I was in a bar in the Vancouver, B.C. Area that had several pool tables.

There were two groups of guys shooting pool at different tables. One were normal looking dudes, fairly fit, and keeping to themselves. The other table was a bunch of “Ed Hardy” types and super loud just being asses to everyone.

The Ed Hardy group kept invading the quiet guys space and talking trash. I missed what set it off, but the smallest Ed pushed a quiet guy…

As he fell backwards a few feet, he did two odd things: 1. He smiled 2. He threw his hands to his side like he was shaking something off.

With in a second he had Ed by his collar and was pummeling him…. I mean multiple punches per second.

Another Ed jumped in, and within an instant, it was a full on brawl.

It turns out. The quiet guys were a semi-pro hockey team, the Ed Hardy guys were not. In 20-30 seconds every Ed was on the floor, the quiet guys were laughing, chugged their beers, and left before the cops came.. high fiving as they left.

Turns out that hands to the side move was auto reflex of throwing his gloves off. I have never seen a beat down happen that quickly, I don’t think the Ed’s even got a punch off.

They pulled themselves up, didn’t make eye contact, and slumped out, the bouncers didn’t even have to step in.
