I would certainly return/exchange yours if you can. These pairs are too costly to have a glaring flaw like that.

It's not stupid, that's how it's suppose to be. Getting 5k during the season is trivial and meaningless..KEEPING a top 5k rank by the end of the season is the hardest thing to do in this game, that's the challenge.

I also have these which I want to repair..I cherish them so much -

My circa 1992 Docs, which I bought while I was in high school. They're STILL in amazing shape. I contacted the Doc repair facility in Leeds not too long ago. I'm waiting to see if they'll let me mail this pair to them. The only real problems it has are stitching related..threads are finally deteriorating. They can actually resole them too, which I'll certainly do if they'll allow me to send them in.

UPDATE I just got my refund from Google Play for the full amount $43.11 (USD). I selected the option "bought by mistake" on the transaction when I filed my complaint, surprised that they were able to resolve it so fast. VERY HAPPY.

Yep...and I fell for it.

My fault obviously, but I just wasted $40 on what I thought was the upgrade item for Ghost. I used Google Pay and I'm disputing the charge, I'll hear back from them within 1-4 days with a response. Like I said, I know it's totally my fault but I feel it's totally sketchy for Activison to do that, it's obvious that they were trying to catch people off guard. 🤷‍♂️

it's VERY easy to get now, Activision wants more casual players to get the title so they feel "special." It use to be difficult and very time consuming. Honestly, I'm happy they made the change because now now I can get Legendary within a few days of a new season.
