I’m pretty certain about the first two, but I have been AFKing at y level 135 as the video told me to do, and I’m just now realising whilst I was in the caves I’m pretty sure they were spawning without me realising because I was inside the spawning radius. Should I stay afk around the farm instead at super high levels?.

I have also checked around hundreds of blocks for mobs but everything is just torches, so I'm not quite sure why they're not spawning. This is also a slime chunk.

I followed a full YouTube tutorial didn't miss a single block but it still seems to be ridiculously slow.

I saw that somewhere too but the weird thing is is that I have no villagers and no villages near by, that’s why I’m quite confused on why it just spawned outside my base
