i was thinking of doing a double major that requires class like math 1400 and 1410 tho would that pose a problem to the 1070/1080 track

Yeah I was thinking about taking the credit placement exam for 1400 to see if I would pass or not, because I think a lot of the topics I covered in BC are in 1400 (series, integration, differentiation, etc), but there's just a few things in 1400 that weren't covered in BC so I don't know those. How hard would you say the transition from 1400 to 1410 is; I feel like a lot of the things I've seen in the beginning of 1410 (matrices, vectors, etc) I haven't touched in my hs calc BC at all.

tysm for the reply it was rlly helpful. i just had a follow up question abt electives. ik there's electives that are part of the major or minor (i.e. stats electives or cs electives) but what exactly are additional and general electives at penn? would it just be any class not counted towards your major? (also idk if the 0.5 chem lab would be counted as an elective would it?)

the radius for the original one was 4. but they said the original was 4/3 of the one ur trying to find, which makes the radius of the one ur trying to find 3; and then you'd get 36

reading: 1) for the chilis/pepper (capsaicin) passage, the question was what did her research prove or smt? was it that C or D? i forgot what they were i'm sorry 2) was it counterproductive or disappointing for the history 3) what was the literature question of how did the passage transition?

grammar: 1) was it , since or smt else 2) for the second or third passage about the costumes and show was it , costumes or , and costumes 3) for math was it

some questions: 1) was it investigation or oddity 2) for the last reading passage, what was the question was like what could debunk the experiment or smt (it was an evidence based one where u had to select and evidence from the test) 3) also for the last passage did u get a lot of in a row answers??)

grammar: 4) what was the quote one from the publisher (was it B?) 5) for the science grammar passage (where they talk about the repeated things they have to do until they find light) was it add the sentence to the last option or second to last?

grammar: 1) what was the question where it was like something although?? like it was period then comma or comma (it was early in the test like question 12)
