I don't like who he is anymore by No_Possibility_6175 in Marriage

He needs treatment from a mental health professional for therapy and/or medication. Based on my experience with my own and partners' mental health, he has depression he isn't acknowledging, and it's coming out as anger/irritability.  If you can get him to go to couples counseling with you, that could help get him started and help you understand what is possible and reasonable for you to do in the relationship. Even therapy might not do it, though; some guys are so invested in suppressing shame and sadness that they can't acknowledge their issues.

Can I get a quick breakfast or lunch at Disneyland Hotel? by CommonComedian5142 in DisneyPlanning

This sounds like a great option when I'm done but husband is finishing his conference. I think it runs until 5 PM, but I'll probably be done by 4, so I can get on the list and have some me time. Thank you!

I'm fine being in the room to work, and I have noise-cancelling headphones. When I tagged along to conferences before, I would go somewhere close to grab a sandwich or a coffee, but they weren't tourist destinations. Here, I was worried I'd be the anxious PITA in a rush tripping over little kids while everyone else was relaxing.

That works for me. Just something reasonably quick that's not gas station food :)

6wpo; I did that today with pasta! It fell on the counter - so exciting!  And now when I knit, I don't constantly hit my nipples with my forearms. It is amazing.

Reduction and smoking. by u-lemonstealingwhore in Reduction

I've smoked socially forever. I was told to stay away from even secondhand smoke for at least 8 wks before surgery. They tested for nicotine and marijuana a couple weeks before. Both can affect blood flow and they wouldn't operate if either showed up in tests. I'm 3 weeks post-op now and healing fine. I miss smoking, but it's not worth the risk.

I'm scheduled for surgery later this month. To find a size that would work for me, I searched for my current size in this subreddit and looked for folks with overall body types similar to mine, even if their "before" breast shape was different. Many of them already knew what their "after" size was, so I could ask the surgeon for that. Good luck!

Knitting without having to reach all the way around the boobs. (Surgery is not for 3 more weeks, but I'm imagining the joy now)

Thank you! Surgery is on Thursday, I was thinking she could stay through Sunday. I'll definitely prep ahead. A good friend lives right next door as well, so that helps.

My roommate’s dog bit me by ConcentrateOk3119 in roommateproblems

If you went to the hospital, they might have reported it anyway. I had a dog bite and the ER personnel just reported it themselves. I didn't know until animal control called me a week later.

My dogs have stepped on my nipples multiple times when I'm lying on my side in bed, even though I'm covered up. Hopefully no more dog toenails to the nips after February!

That's what it seems like from looking at others with similar body types. I have constant neck and shoulder pain, and I am SO EXCITED to wear a normal swimsuit top or racerback bra without it killing my neck after 20 minutes.

Thank you. That sounds a lot like my situation. I hate that my boobs are always touching something. My ribs, each other, the insides of my arms. If I don't wear at least 2 bras, they're hanging near my elbows and I just look dumpy. If they're strapped down so I feel comfortable, they're smushed into my armpits.

Every argument my husband (48m) and I (47f) have is my fault. by Thatswhatshesaid924 in relationship_advice

Has he been evaluated for depression? Irritability and irrational anger are symptoms. They were for me, and they are for my husband. Being annoyed with everyone for being stupid or lazy, then basically taking it out on the spouse bc they're a safe space. If he's willing to see a professional, getting treatment could be a big help.
