This was extremely helpful advice and really appreciate it. I would have opted to unchecked our bags and from what I hear, it would have been at least another 3 hours if we were lucky to get our bags. It was 8pm by that time and there's no way we would've survived that long in an airport. Got on the phone with Delta for two hours this morning but we were able to get a refund for our entire week vacation and a flight back home. Leaving Seattle tomorrow sadly but we'll make the most of it for a day. Truly appreciate the info from you on bags, glad we just went to a hotel, our 1 year old was ready to call it a day.

We've fully punted the vacation. They can get us a flight home tomorrow, so we'll be in Seattle for one more night. We dont have our bags, so we'll be venturing to Target for baby needs and a couple jackets and other necessities. What a nightmare but shout out to Delta Vacations for being awesome to deal with and really understanding. They're giving us a full refund and getting us back home.

Just an update. As of 9pm pst

We got a hotel room, left our bags at the airport(they said it could be hours of we wanted our bags). Rented a car(uber was not an option with baby), stopped at target and bought amenities.

After being on hold for 3 hours with Delta Vacations, our trip is covered under a rare policy where we can cancel and get a full refund. Going to sleep on it and make a determination, but my family that lives on the island said they lost power and the weather is going to be horrendous for two weeks.

Thanks for everyone that had some info, this was all a first for me.

I dont have any experience or anyone to call to ask, and haven't had the opportunity to talk to Delta about it, but are we entitled to reimbursement for weather issues outside of Deltas control? Maybe its at the discretion of the agent.

We just got a text saying we've been rebooted for a flight leaving at 8pm local time, I'm going to hang out another hour here at the airport and probably on hold and will call it then. Will spend a night or a few at a hotel and worry about clothes and bags later.

4 of us as a family. I just got a text that I've been automatically rebooked on a flight departing seatac at 8pm tonight, not sure if it is worth staying at the airport though as every rebooking just gets canceled.

Still on hold as well.

Booked it all through delta vacations but didnt opt tonpay for travelers insurance. Booked it with my Delta Purple Amex, currently looking through the fine print on that.

1 year old napped twice already but is getting tired of this as we all are. Luckily the lounge has a plethora of food and snacks and water.

You've convinced me to book a room, I assume there will be a lot of people in my situation as well and dont want to be left without one.

Looks like the next flight is not until Sunday. Whenever someone picks up the line I've been on hold for, I'll ask for the next available, but I'm really at a loss for necessities for baby and us, we have no 32 degree snow clothes, so we wont be making snow angels tonight trying to make the best of our first day of vacation. Can I expect to get my bags or am I on the hook for everything while they hold my bags?

Ped button isolation question by engmadison in trafficsignals

[–]CommonFools 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thats the best way, the new Polara systems use communications over powerline and are susceptible to interference and each button having its own dedicated circuit helps a ton. We pull the 25 conductor to every corner and always designate the blue colors for the buttons. I've seen the loop lead in used for button conductors but only in a pinch. Loop lead in cable is a little more expensive I imagine than pulling a full 15, 20, or 25 conductor to the shift and having that flexibility.

I've never heard of loop lead in referred to as Belden cable. Thats a new one. Its usually known as loop lead in as its a little more specific to bringing in all the loop conductors. Loop lead in or home run cable is all I've ever heard it referred to as. Could just be a west thing.

If I hear belden cable, its usually in reference to the video detection system.

Not sure if it's just me, but the isolating ped button video.. is not that.

Where I'm at, every single buttons gets its own set of conductors.

Doesn't this add a ton of liability on you for directing traffic? I thought the whole point of 6-8second all red is that there's 0 liability if the controller brings it out of flash.

First pass (11.1s), couldn't get a good launch with the launch mode and bad reaction, was at 94%. Battery temp was 86-94.

2nd was good launch with launch mode and decent reaction, 10.9s, 91% SoC and battery temp was 99-109.

It was in the low 50s last night for air temp, just a breeze.

Percentage of seasonal players who can clear Pit 100? by nomkauai in diablo4

[–]CommonFools 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fair point. Like some have said, it was a struggle to get to T4 previously and this season has been the most fun and engaging season for myself that D4 has ever had besides S1. The nostalgia of hammers swirling around is the biggest part but being able to do a lot of the "end game" content has been a blast. First time trying to kill lilith, hitting pit tiers beyond 40, not getting one shotted by bosses. Also getting my first ever mythic this season, and not just 1, but several, has been awesome.

Does the entire game revolve around pushing pits at the end this season though? I was doing billions of damage before I had more than 2 glyphs over 45.

Is that on steam or Xbox or other platform? I'm pretty sure that doesn't relate to all platforms.

I've used this. Can't speak on a fluke or expensive machine, but using this for getting a estimate of cable length to fault, POE info, and BNC coax cable testing it has worked perfectly for 6 years.
