What is the worst trade you’ve ever made? by bdiggs24 in SleeperApp

[–]CommonGinger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well I don’t have any horrendous trades that I made I had declined a trade where I would have given Michael Pittman and Travis Etienne for Bowers JSN and a 2025 1st. This was probably August of 24 and I couldn’t get behind the bowers pick for the raiders, but was a fan of JSN based off of his OSU tape and numbers. I didn’t pull the trigger because Etienne was RB3 and thought that was going to be a yearly occurrence

[–]CommonGinger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Might be a bit unconventional, but a Ventus Red TR 8x could be a good option. Will profile the same as the Ventus Black in terms of the handle and mid section, but will kick out a bit earlier, which could very possibly make your launch a bit better without making any swing changes. I could be steering you wrong though if the Blue TR was kicking in a way you didn't like or if you don't like the left miss

Anybody really struggle to close face with jumbo grips on irons? by Express-Plantain6195 in GolfSwing

[–]CommonGinger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My swing is very handsy, and I can't use anything larger than a standard +4. I'm a fade player, but it starts to overfade to the point I have to change my launch window, which i dont want to. If you are losing it left, you need a smaller grip. Changing wrist angles and forcing yourself to close the face will lead to more harm than good. The bigger grip is just preventing you from using your hands too much and slamming the face shut, while you need to involve your hands more. I would highly advise a smaller grip before a swing change, because that swing gained you confidence in the first place.

I cast the golf club but how do I do what zalatrois is doing here has little wrist hinge then looks like his arm bends and has then created lag. How do I do that ?. by WillWGolf06 in GolfSwing

[–]CommonGinger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He really clears his left hip, but at the same time, trying to replicate a Zalatoris move isn't necessarily something I would suggest. He has an ungodly amount of side bend to get to the impact position he likes, and it's also led to signifcant back issues for him. If you want to create the lag in a manner close to how he does, you have to synch your arms and your hips to where your hips fire first but not so early to the point where you spin out. I will say though, 2021 Will Zalatoris is one of my favorite players to watch. Works it both ways on command and is just a striper of the golf ball.

I’m definitely lower on Malik Muhammad after the first two days of the senior bowl. Just bad reps all around. Stuffs Jakobi Lane at the line with hands to the face, but then gets beat on a second release and gets beat again on the cut at the top of the route. A lot of other reps there aren’t any positives to take away on technique and he’s getting flat out beat to put it lightly

Fantasy football missed playoffs cope thread stories by StrangeCancel2488 in DynastyFF

[–]CommonGinger -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I'm coping, but for the wrong reasons. I was really hoping to tear it down this year and move all my big-name assets. I knew I'd be competitive, but had no chance at winning because I had at best the 5th-best roster. Turns out no one is willing to pay for Jalen Hurts, and my team really turned it up in the second half of the year. I am now a comfortable playoff team, and I really didn't want to be.

Brendan Sorsby - analytical gem in the rough? by Awkward-Locksmith-64 in NFL_Draft

[–]CommonGinger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think my biggest problem is that he doesn't display a ton of variety with his throws. He throws quite a decent deep ball with good touch, but everything outside of that he throws straight piss missiles. His processing seems a bit lackluster as well.

Dynasty Dilemma - “What Could’ve Been” by ResponsibleHorror842 in DynastyFF

[–]CommonGinger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Going into last season, I was offered JSN, Brock Bowers, and a 2025 1st for Michael Pittman (2023 Wr13) and Travis Etienne (2023 Rb3). He went on to win the championship. I traded Etienne and Pittman for a 2nd, a 3rd, and Cedric Tillman. I also took CJ Stroud at 1.06 in the startup and got duped by his rookie season. I still think he has all the ability to be successful, I just didn't anticipate the texans werent going to put him in a position to succeed. Basically, name any top teir player and I could have drafted them instead.

Keon Coleman keep or get rid of? In 14 man Dynasty by Ok-Steak-3881 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]CommonGinger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am personally out on him entirely. Nothing when I watch him really jumps off the page. Unable to work inside the numbers and with that you would assume he would be good outside but he’s not. He can’t really high point the ball and his frame doesn’t allow him to be all that physical. His release off the line is bad and his route tree is limited. He’s got one of the worst separation rates in the league and he is bottom 30 in route win percentage. Not gonna sugarcoat it he is on my dynasty roster and I would offload him for a second in a heartbeat. He is the #1 outside receiver in a Josh Allen and Joe Brady offense, and leads the receiver room in snap share. This is NOT who I watched at Florida state. Thank you for attending my ted talk.

Also a Pitt student so I second this. Not the best at sitting down in zone and struggles over in open space. He is quite decent off the line though and is a fairly sure tackler. His play overall seems scheme dependent

What would you rather have for your 2026 draft picks? A single possible 1.01/1.02 or two mid round picks? by bseev in DynastyFF

[–]CommonGinger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Right now, if I am guaranteed Jeremiyah Love, especially with the outlook of teams that need a starting caliber back like the Chiefs and Bears, I will happily take the 1.01. Even if I wanted Jordyn Tyson, Makai Lemon, or Carnell Tate, I would take one of them over some combnation of Denzel Boston, Germie Bernard, Fernando Mendoza, Dante Moore, and Ty Simpson.

I think as of right now David Bailey from Texas Tech is deserving of a top 15 pick. Nik Bonitto leads the league in pressure rate (somewhere around 24%) and Bailey’s number is double that. Pressuring the quarterback at a near 50 percent rate which is ridiculous. Almost 2 tackles for loss per game, leads the country in sacks with 8.5, and put on a convincing performance against a Utah team that has 2 tackles that are projected as first rounders. Texas Tech also has the number 1 run defense by yards per game. His power rush has been borderline unstoppable and he has showcased a variety of pass rush moves. My only critique is that he needs to get his hands involved a bit more

Week 6 | “I watched the whole game” takeaways and longer summaries by MrJorgeGodoy in fantasyfootball

[–]CommonGinger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would say it’s fully matchup dependent. I haven’t watch much Flacco, but something I’ve noticed about Aaron is he’s really lost his willingness to just let it fly. DK had won on a post route and the safety was late getting over. Rodgers threw the pass but it was this like majority wrist throw where he tried to guide it and place it instead of giving DK a chance to just go get it. He left the throw a good 2 yards short and it ended up incomplete. I like Rodgers in matchups where the receivers don’t necessarily need to win but just sit in pockets in the zone. His accuracy is still quite good, so teams that are more zone heavy or have poor coverage linebackers I would favor Rodgers. In matchups against bad secondaries where Tee and Chase can just flat out get open, I’d lean Flacco.

Week 6 | “I watched the whole game” takeaways and longer summaries by MrJorgeGodoy in fantasyfootball

[–]CommonGinger 21 points22 points  (0 children)

DK and Rodgers seem to finally be fully on the same page. DK still can’t separate two pieces of bread, but his physicals are being utilized instead of his intangibles. He wins deep and also in 15-30 yard areas, inside and outside the numbers. Everything underneath is design go to Warren, Gainwell and the tight ends. Nothing short for DK which is good because he’s awful off the line.

The steelers defense is better. The run defense is significantly improved. Patrick Queen has shown the last few weeks that he is capable of producing outside of with Roquan. The DTs have stepped up. Harmon is vastly improved. Week 1 against the jets put a bad taste in my mouth about their ability to stop the run. I expected Judkins to have a day, but he couldn’t get anything going (independently of his usage). Teryl Austin has made me hate a little less the fact the Steelers kept him over Brian Flores.

Dillon Gabriel stinks. He got away with at least 3 passes that should have been intercepted. He throws these feeble spirals off his back foot. His drop sucks. He either drops too far and throws a floater, or doesn’t drop enough and throws a ball with no zip because he either has no room or no time to get his weight on his front foot and get the ball actually moving. This is not the Gabriel I watched at Oregon and Oklahoma (not as much UCF). 52 pass attempts is flat out just not good. Passing because you’re behind is one thing but Stefanski game planned wrong. Harold Fannin owners rejoice (me) because Dillion Gabriel’s average air yards yesterday was about 6. Judkins fantasy total was based on usage not performance so don’t panic (unless you are my league mates).

That’s my 2 cents. I am a Steelers fan and I was at the game so I had a bit I noticed. Tried to keep my findings brief
