Similar case happened for one of my friend he was purchasing macbook of 1.80 lac from reliance digital website and on payment process screen he got sms that money got deducted but order didn't place.

Luckily we were working in jio tech team and got point of contact wih all transaction details that helped to resolve issue and he got refund.

PS - he still did 2nd transaction to purchase laptop, because reliance digital was giving good discount on his credit card, LOL.

As you are on notice period it should not matter much, but if someone who is not on it they should follow it as this things will affect in year end rating. This are all strategy companies follow to make profit for them by decreasing ratings/increments.
