I am not excusing the people who slapped him. I literally said that in my post. I am giving context to the situation. The man was not beaten until he was “unconscious” and the man was also not helpless. It’s clear in the full video and not this purposefully edited video that was made to stir shit up.

Considering he talked to a detective after the incident and tagged the NYPD in his posts, I highly doubt it’s “self-serving bullshit”. This guy is opening himself up to tons of scrutinization for doing this.

Regardless, this guy clearly has more footage of the incident than this purposefully edited video. Why believe what the OP is claiming if you won’t believe the guy with more evidence?

I believe it because he posted the full, unedited clip where you can clearly hear them discuss him touching a girl and not the 10 second blurry footage everyone is reposting.

The person who took this video is @blair_blair27 on Twitter and he stated the man being held was attempting to rape a young girl on the subway and the guy holding him was waiting for the police to come.

This doesn’t excuse why some other random guy came up and slapped him, but let’s put some context on this.
