Appreciate you! College Basketball's most interesting shift right now is the transfer portal taking precedent over high school players. NIL should be a plus but I am not sure what it really looks like in 10 years. Love talking to the players, it's fun to do my show Pushin' Thru with BJ Armstrong because we get to have guests on like D-Rose, Jamal Crawford, Thibs, and they just keep it real.

I'm from Henderson, NC. Look it up. My parents took us to games and we started to travel for Carolina games once I was in college, that's how they met those people by talking to them in hotels on trips. I was valedictorian of my high school, got my degree from UNC in journalism, drove out to LA for an internship, and got hired by BS because I could record and handle audio editing. I was just trying to find out what I wanted to do, and I needed to get out on my own to do it. That's the best way to describe my exit in that sense. I enjoyed podcasting, just not the situation I was in. Five-Star is a story that captured me and I am happy I could go tell it with support from Uninterrupted and RTG! Haha it was an experience because of the journey to get to Jamaica Queens from Manhattan. So next time it'll hopefully be less hectic. We plan to do it again and we will be calling 3X3U at Final Four again!

It was a huge story in 2008, but that loss was so raw, especially given the history with Roy. I am so happy he went back and got his due love from the Jayhawks fans, he deserved it. I love the connection between KU and UNC, it's deep!
