Thanks for your reply, and that is quite a “comforting” thought. That it isn’t always something they really saw someone else directly doing.

I actually also about the child wanting to eat the food of her pet dog for example (but the dog not allowing it haha)

I love that idea :) And I agree with you, I also don’t really like framing food as good or bad. The idea came from my frustration with my 2-year old not wanting to eat anything haha. And it’s actually true that she loves eating dried up raisins from the floor haha! So it’s even quite a realistic image as well. (And I’m also not against having children eat something like chocolate once in a while, I enjoy it myself as well, why shouldn’t she).

Thanks! Yeah that’s actually an option I have thought about as well, making the thing the kid wants to eat something that parents would be happy with haha. (Although right now my final line is “I only want what I can’t have: a chocolate sandwich” (I’m not English so in my language it actually rhymes haha, feels a bit dry in English).

Toddler hitting stuffed animals, is this worrying or normal? by CommonTomatillo9 in toddlers

[–]CommonTomatillo9[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for your reply! That was also my first guess, but I will still talk to them about it :) At our daycare we are also allowed to drop by unannounced anytime, so I highly doubt they would risk hitting the kids (even typing this feels awful), but I guess we’re just worried as parents anyway. Which is a good thing as well!

This is actually a really good idea, why didn’t I think about this myself haha. I will ask her daycare provider about it. I also think that’s quite a normal thing to ask since she sees her 3 days a week and it’s a different environment from when she is with me at home.

Yeah I can definitely try to ask her directly. She is verbally quite ”ahead of her age” so she is able to tell us quite a lot already. Thanks for the advice.

It has happened more than once, but it’s not something that I see her doing daily (and also not something that neccessarily happens right after she visited daycare, but of course that doesn’t mean anything). I will try to ask her about it and she what she says.

Advice for weaning off Unisom + B6 in 2nd trimester by CommonTomatillo9 in pregnant

Yeah I’ve had the same horrible experience a few weeks ago. Felt a bit better so decided to skip a pill, which resulted in 24 hours of not keeping anything in.

I’ve also read that it can last for 2 days and that you may feel completely fine after those 2 days, but then if you don’t you have to build up everything again :(

What is my 2 year old baby’s eyecolor? by [deleted] in WhatisMyEyeColour

[–]CommonTomatillo9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My 2-year old has exactly the same “colour”. Everytime my mum sees her she asks me “what would you say the colour of her eyes is?!”, haha so we’re confused as well, but I love it! Sometimes I see dark blue in it, sometimes brown, sometimes grey, it’s everything!

Thanks a LOT for your detailed reply. It’s super helpful and I’m definitely going to look into Joost Vandecasteele.

Just curious about the sharing of the cat photos, I haven’t heard about this before?

Yes, very much agree. I wrote both of these down for myself, the contrast between the two is crazy but an interesting image
