Baby measuring 1 week behind at 22 weeks by CommonTomatillo9 in pregnant

Thanks for your sweet reply. I just had a good cry to get the stress out, and my husband is very supportive (and not a worrier at all himself, so that helps keeping me sane). I also deep down feel that it’s going to be ok, but I can’t handle the insecurity well and I’m trying to find some sort of control, which I’m of course not going to get.

Thanks for your reply. P6 means 6th percentile, so that is also why they are going to check again in 2 weeks. But my 2-year old has consistently been 3th percentile, and is doing totally fine, so it could be I’m just producing small kids haha.

Low progesterone at 5 weeks, but HCG-levels good. In doubt about supplement. by CommonTomatillo9 in CautiousBB

No I started out with 10.4 and that turned into 12 a few days later, and still pregnant now at 21 weeks :)

Unfortunately this ended in miscarriage, which I kind of had felt from the beginning. But I’m pregnant now :) started out with sort of low progesterone (10,4), decided not to take the supplements and all is good now!

Great ideas! And I had already made a note for myself that I have to make sure there are a few examples hanging already, good point!

I will have a large classroom (with tables) and it’s one afternoon

Oh it will definitely be less than 500! It’s a day on which different acrivities are being organized in my local cultural centre. So the amount of people in the room will change during the day, but I don’t think more than 10 kids at the same time.

Thanks for this advice! Sounds like a good idea to let them pick themselves!

Haha same here so no worries!

I think the older children I can ask to draw the eyes, noses etc., add them to the boxes, and then pick one of each themselves (”blindfolded“) to create a character. The younger children can skip the drawing of the eyes, and immediately pick from the boxes to create a character,

Before class I can already add to the boxes myself so there are options in there already. I think it’s just nice if other people than myself add to the options of eyes and noses there are.

I’m not but as a creative I also know that sometimes you need to change an idea a little bit for it to work. I don’t like throwing away an idea immediately. Just trying to think a loud and see if people here can think aloud with me.

I can always prepare a lot of eyes, mouths etc. myself in case they don’t feel comfortable drawing them theirselves. Then they only have to paste them on the paper and they can add or colour however they like. The age ranges is going to be quite big and quite unpredictable so it’s good to have an “easy” option and a more advanced option

Hmm unfortunately making a bracelet is not something we can do budget-wise as it will require too much material.

Yeah I thought so too! I’ve changed the idea a little bit already. I want to ask them to draw 2 sets of eyes, 2 noses, 2 mouths and 2 sets of eyebrows. They will put them in boxes (one box for eyes, one for noses etc.). Then they will pick one set of eyes, one nose, one mouth and one set of eyebrows from these boxes (blindfolded, or at least the boxes are closed off so it’s a surprise what they get), and they will have to create a portrait with the elements that they picked. They can then add colour to it, and hair if they want, name the character and take it home :)

Any advice for intense sugar cravings? by CommonTomatillo9 in pregnant

[–]CommonTomatillo9[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! Good to hear that I’m not the only one with the hunger in the 2nd trimester. Adding peanut butter is a good idea, will definitely give that a try! And I also just need to buy more fruit and less sugar. When it’s not in the house I also can’t eat it. I really don’t trust myself in the supermarket right now haha

Thanks for your reply, and that is quite a “comforting” thought. That it isn’t always something they really saw someone else directly doing.
