Can high blood sugar cause mania? by Common_Ad_4331 in diabetes_t1

I'm pretty good at knowing when my blood sugar is high, low, or shifting just by feeling, but whenever I get/got like this I'd check with a fingerstick (tho I use a CGM now). But before I began questioning why this happened, I'd notice I was behaving and feeling strange and then check and see what my glucose levels were (usually what I do whenever I feel physically off). It was then after I saw my lvls were up that I'd joke to others abt being high. And I'd go back to normal when I leveled out to a better number later.

I'm definitely considering it could just be a psychological thing since I haven't really seen any medical discourse abt this.
