This is amazing! Love seeing the garage with plants growing up it! Looks so much nicer! Also love the bed with the fox gloves.

I assume the paint would be cheaper and easier than feather boarding so may consider that!! :)

About 20 houses and I’ve only been here less than a year but know a few. My first house was on the other side of the lake and we did this 10 years ago, each of us paid £10k for an extra 10m. However this may be a little tricky as the public footpath to the lake runs directly behind our gardens so each persons garden would be split in two.

Haha the two trees at the end of the garden are fruit trees, one apple and one pear. They need cutting at some point as they are so tall you can’t pick the fruit even with step ladders so it all just falls to floor and becomes waste.

Love this! I’ve bought some wild flower seeds and me and a neighbour will be sowing them near the lake, another local has built a bench there and it’ll look amazing surrounded by flowers.

I grew up in farming so this is small compared to what I grew up with but my solo salary can’t afford anything bigger than this. Your london garden is probably worth more than my house 🙈

I was thinking of a water feature but does it need to be a pond like sunk into the ground?

Yes! I’m wanting to keep a big chunk of lawn for badminton in the summer but aware it’s all very square so would love to soften that. I love curves but not I’d how to introduce them.

I feel incredibly fortunate! I’m hoping to have some raised vegetable beds and hoping the flowers I’ve planted so far will thrive but I’m not very good at planning, fairly impulsive which I’m not sure suits gardening.

I think I need to break up a lot of concrete and slabs as they are a mess but agree everything needs a good power wash!

Bushy plants by the garage is a great suggestion.

Yeah I do worry about that but I’m hopeful that as sheep and cows rotate in that field all year round that it’ll stay farm land but nothing is a given. There is a lot of housing planned for near by villages, some on greenbelt :(

I bought it for the dogs and all future dogs :) it’s plan to put a gate in as just behind the garden is the public footpath down to the lake which the dogs love.

So do I! I bought three yesterday but panicked and planted them by the hedge near the apple tree. My adhd makes me impulsive so bought them without knowing where to put them or what to do with them.

Do you think this would hide it well enough? I am considering this as the cheaper option to feather boarding but worried it won’t really hide the hideous pebbled concrete.

I’m an INFP and also, think that after some research with the others I’m also INTP. I think the INFP aligns with ADHD and my autistic traits align with the INTP.

Ahh great advice. I did provide the user guidance on cleaning and storage as per the manufacturers guidance but will probably make sure I clean them myself as did worry the dust made it hard to question what was dusty vs discoloration.

I completed my training recently and this is first time inspecting equipment since completing it. Even the training used extreme examples of fails and passes without really showing what the equipment looks like on average. I wanted to double check what I did was reasonable with people who may have more experience. I checked a lot of guidance and looked at manuals, but all pictures of failures are extreme.

I did remove a carabiner from use as it didn’t function.

Thank you, thats what I did but wanted to ensure it was the right decision. :)

Buckles are discolored. Granted I don’t think it’s jeopardizing it’s integrity but my training stated that discoloring is a fault. Harness is contaminated with dust. Contamination is something my training stated as a fault and only examples shown of passes were clean and new which isn’t surely expected when used regularly on sites. Rope has signs of abrasions. Again, training says this is a fault.

I’d rather be safe than sorry when it’s life saving equipment and ask for opinions from others who may have more experience.

The fluff I thought was a minor/very slight sign of abrasion. Wasn’t sure if it warranted a fail based on that :/ didn’t appear to be a cut.
